My name is Dr Kathleen Sparshott, and I would like to share a little about myself...
My philosophy:
I believe that it is very important to have some chemistry, or a good connection with your psychologist. So please take a few moments to read about me below. I am very much an open book and like my clients to feel comfortable with me, as well as trusting in the strength of my background.
Why psychology?:
To me, being a psychologist is not a job. Meeting someone for the first time who is in a dark place and being trusted with their inner most thoughts and feelings is a real privilege that I cherish, protect, and am incredibly grateful for. Helping someone out of that trough and into a better place is what I live for. Hand on heart, I will do my utmost to support you, to be a trusted but professional friend. When you contact me, you will see that I am a genuine empath with top notch brains and skills behind a big heart.

Where have I been and what have I done?:
I was trained in the UK and worked for the Ministry of Defence for many years, where I conducted research, implemented and evaluated interventions.
I then relocated to the Netherlands where I worked for a large international organisation in a hands-on role supporting staff members and managers, and advising senior management.
After twelve years, I decided to take my own advice for a change, and relocated together with my husband and son to beautiful Queensland to live a more wholesome life with more time as a family.
I now do what I love the most; working one to one with people who need support.
